Club Activities

The WCMS Science Olympiad team placed at the Bayard Rustin regional to advance to the state competition. The team was excited for all of their hard work to pay off.

The members also competed at the local K'nex Stem Challenge held at CLIU 21. Teams worked on STEM designs to understand that infrastructure is the framework of our world.  Buildings, roads, and power supplies are part of the infrastructure needs of our society. The challenge was to improve our transportation system.  Teams had to think of current transportation systems and determine what ways can they be improved to create a safer, healthier, and cleaner world. Teams created a prototype that shows this improved, or new, transportation system.
