Grade level planned courses of study outline the content, objectives, activities, forms of assessment and standards alignment for each course. Planned courses of study are approved by the Whitehall Coplay School District Board of Directors. Pennsylvania has developed the PA Core Standards Instructional Framework in the subject areas of Math and ELA. The PA Core Standards establishes a minimum level of competency for all students. The Instructional framework summaries the essential skills and concepts addressed at each grade level. The framework provides a staircase to learning the essential skills and concepts needed for more rigorous work in high school and beyond.
