      • Notice for Requesting Proposals for FSMC Services

        Whitehall-Coplay School District

        Attention:  Food Service Management Companies (FSMCs)

        The Whitehall-Coplay School District, a sponsor of the National School Lunch Program, is requesting proposals for full-service food service management services.

        Specifications may be obtained from the district website, www.whitehallcoplay.org and at the Administration Office, 5290 West Coplay Road, Whitehall, PA 18052.

        A mandatory walk-through meeting is scheduled for April 6, 2023, at 9:00 AM at the Whitehall-Coplay High School, 3800 Mechanicsville Road, Whitehall, PA 18052.

        The Whitehall-Coplay School District reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or to accept the proposal that it finds, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the school district, and to waive any informalities contained in such proposal.

        Notice is hereby made that the Board of School Directors of the Whitehall-Coplay School District will conduct the following 2022-2023 meetings in the Whitehall High School Large Group Instruction Room, 3800 Mechanicsville Road, Whitehall, PA:          

        Regular Committee meetings will be held the second Monday of each month, beginning at 4:00 p.m., with the following exception: Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Committee meetings are not scheduled in July. 

        Committee meetings will be held as follows: January 9, April 11, August 14, and November 13, the Operations/Transportation Committee will meet at 4:00 p.m., and the Finance/Personnel Committee, and Education/Student Activities will follow consecutively. On February 13, May 8, and September 11, the Education/Student Activities Committee will meet at 4:00 p.m., and the Operations/Transportation Committee, and the Finance/Personnel Committee will follow consecutively. On March 13, June 12, and October 9, the Finance/Personnel Committee will meet at 4:00 p.m., the Education/Student Activities Committee, and the Operations/Transportation Committee will follow consecutively. 

        Regular School Board meetings will be held on the fourth Monday of each month, beginning at 7:00 p.m., with the following exceptions: Monday, December 19, 2022, and Monday, November 20, 2023.

        The Board welcomes citizens to its open meetings and invites them to bring to its attention matters of concern. A member of the public, present at a Board meeting, may address the Board in accordance with law and Board policy and procedures. Citizens desiring to be heard by the Board at a regular or special meeting without prior notification, may be allotted a reasonable amount of time by the President to present the issue of concern after submitting a Request to Speak form prior to the start of the meeting.

        The Whitehall-Coplay School District hereby gives public notice of the following meetings in the Whitehall High School’s Large Group Instruction Room, 3800 Mechanicsville Rd., Whitehall, PA:
         
        Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of the Whitehall-Coplay School District (the “District”) shall convene a Special Board Meeting on Monday, June 12, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. to discuss any and all business that properly comes before the board. The Committee Meetings will follow the conclusion of the Special Board Meeting in consecutive order: Finance/Personnel Committee, Education/Student Activities Committee, and Operations/Transportation Committee.
         
        The Board welcomes citizens to its open meetings and invites them to bring to its attention matters of concern.
